	Whenever we obtain a job description and person specification our objective is to achieve a 100% match for the skills and personality profile provided. A candidate's ability within a particular skills area is hard to quantify and prove. At Talent we have designed and created 'Arena' our own skills assessment and training system. All candidates will be required to sit such an assessment before we can accurately assess their suitability for any given position. This is your reassurance that they can do what they say they can! All our tests can be amended to suit your company needs. Candidates can be requested to sit any combination of assessments according to your criteria and to support an application. The facility for assessing candidates is part of our recruitment process and is included in our fees. Assessment areas include: Secretarial Copy typing (basic and advance), letter creation, tabulation. Results provide accurate figures for speed in words per minutes and accuracy. Mistakes including punctuation are highlighted. Duration 5 minutes Audio Typing Tests a candidate's ability from 80-110 words per minutes. Specific tests exists for the legal and medical professions. A generic test exists for all other cases. Results are provided for accuracy and speed. Duration 5 minutes Shorthand Tests a candidate's ability from 50-120 words per minute. Specific tests exist for the legal and medical professions. A generic test exists for all other cases. Results are provided for accuracy and speed. Duration 5 minutes Data Entry A combination of tests exists to test a candidates accuracy and speed in either alphanumeric, numeric or tenkey. All test results indicate speeds in key depressions per hour (KDPH) and accuracy in percentage terms. Duration 5 minutes Microsoft Office MS Word Tests a candidate's knowledge and ability at basic, intermediate and advanced levels. Results indicate areas of proficiency and development. Results indicate areas of proficiency and development. Results given in percentage terms. Duration 5 minutes Aptitude An excellent assessment covering candidates ability in numeracy, clerical, aptitude, spelling, accuracy and literacy. Duration 15 minutes Call Centre Assessments Audio based assessment to assess a candidate's ability to translate Italian/ Spanish/French/German/Dutch to English. Accuracy based results in percentage. A generic assessment of a candidate's ability to key in information received to a database. Accuracy based results in percentage form. Duration 15 minutes Sage Line 50 Accounts This assessment provides candidates suitability with regard to accuracy and overall ability to operate a Sage Sales Ledger / Purchase Ledger and Payroll System. The accurate input of data, account creation and invoice raising. This is a major assessment and provides excellent result analysis. Duration 30 minutes Food Hygiene Assessment An Industry specific knowledge based assessment of a candidate's suitability to any food handling enrolment. Duration 30 minutes Lotus 123 Smartsuite 97 Standard knowledge based assessment, assessing a candidate's ability in basic, intermediate and advanced use areas. Duration 30 minutes
